bulletLocation: On the shore of Watauga Lake, between Watauga Dam Road and U.S. 321; elevation 2,100 feet.  The shelter is 50 yards uphill off the A.T. on a blue-blazed side trail.  In the Cherokee National Forest, Watauga Ranger District.
bulletConstruction: Three-sided with open front and wooden sleeping platform.   Wood structure.   Built in 1980 by the U.S. Forest Service.
bulletSleeps: six
bulletMaintenance history:
bulletPut clear stain on wood to preserve it.
bulletFuture: Install picnic table.
bulletWater source: return to A.T. on blue-blazed trail.  Stream crosses A.T. at that point.
