bulletLocation:  On White Rocks Mountain, between Dennis Cove Road and U.S. 19E; elevation 3,815 feet.  The shelter is directly on the A.T.  In the Cherokee National Forest, Unaka Ranger District.
bulletConstruction: Three-sided with open front and wooden sleeping platform.  Concrete-block walls.  Built in 1960 by the U.S. Forest Service.

bulletMaintenance history:
bullet1994: Installed picnic table.
bulletFuture: Roof replacement and rafter work needed.
bulletWater source: Spring is located short distance down hollow opposite shelter.
