| Location: On White Rocks Mountain, between Dennis Cove Road and U.S. 19E;
elevation 3,815 feet. The shelter is directly on the A.T. In the Cherokee
National Forest, Unaka Ranger District. |
| Construction: Three-sided with open front and wooden sleeping platform.
Concrete-block walls. Built in 1960 by the U.S. Forest Service. |

| Maintenance history:
 | 1994: Installed picnic table. |
| Future: Roof replacement and rafter work needed. |

| Water source: Spring is located short distance down hollow opposite shelter. |
