TEHCC - Leadership

Leadership

The TEHCC is guided by a Steering Committee comprised of Eastman employees or retirees. Each year, a chair is selected to lead the committee. Steering Committee members serve two year terms. The TEHCC has several other individuals that contribute through offices and committees as well.

NOTE: If you are an Eastman employee, do not use the TEHCC email addresses to contact the officers (except the Trail Maintenance Coordinator). Use their Eastman email address.

Tim Schaefer	2010 Chair chair@tehcc.org	Tim is a Development Engineer at Eastman. He enjoys hiking and backpacking with his family and dog, as well as, flat water kayaking.
Jake Mitchell	2009 Chair events@tehcc.org	Jake works in IT at Eastman. He is actively section hiking the AT and is a trail maintainer along with other hobbies that include mountain biking and carpentry. His trail name is “Cabin Fever.”
Marc Schurger	Member	Marc works in Sustainability at Eastman. Marc has been canoeing and kayaking North America for over forty years. In a former life, he was a guide in Minnesota's Boundary Waters Wilderness.
Steve Perri	Member	Steve is a Chemist at Eastman. He has been involved in the TEHCC for several years including the Steering Committee and AT Committee Chair. Steve has visited more than half of our country's national parks.
Tom Boyd	Member	Tom works in Engineering at Eastman. He is section hiking the AT and also enjoys mountain biking, photography, golf and playing guitar. He is currently making plans to try to the SB6K Challenge.
Ian Powell	Member	Ian is a Kingsport native and Mechanical Engineer at Eastman. Ian spent time in the Army before graduating from UT and coming to Eastman.
Josh Henri	Member	Josh is an Electrical Engineer at Eastman.
Kevin Barham	Secretary	Kevin is a Mechanical Engineer in Eastman’s Utilities Division. He started section hiking the AT after being inspired by a speaker at a TEHCC event. His trail name is “Croc”.
