Mountaineer Falls Shelter

bulletLocation: In Carter County, Tennessee, between Dennis Cove Road and U.S. 19E; elevation approximately 3,200 feet.  The shelter is about 200 feet off the A.T. on a blue-blazed side trail.  In the Cherokee National Forest, Watauga Ranger District.
bulletConstruction: Three-sided with open front and wooden sleeping platform.  Wood framing and siding, metal roof.   Built in 2006 by TEHCC and Hard Core.
